Meet Sheila Hightower White
Sheila Hightower White is a Minister, Speaker, Author, Mentor, and Coach. Sheila is also President and Co-founder of Her Cries Are Heard. Birthed from the devastating pain from the murders of her sister and niece, Her Cries Are Heard is a non-profit organization focused on “Breaking the Silence” by increasing awareness, preventing violence, and shining a light on domestic violence and abuse.
Limping through life from the crippling grief from two family tragedies, the pain of divorce, fear, shame, disappointment, depression, and broken dreams, Sheila was determined not to be a living victim but a VICTOR. Through her strength from God, Sheila is turning her grief into gain and finding purpose in her pain.
Sheila realizes that we might not relate to limping physically, but most of us can relate to limping emotionally. We carry the mistakes we’ve made through the years. We carry the pain inflicted on us by others and many times by our own poor decisions. We hold the past wounds and lies that tell us we are not good enough, we were not a good parent, or it’s too late for us. Through biblical truths, Sheila is helping to bring healing by restoring faith, hope, peace, love, and forgiveness.
Sheila is now walking in truth and leaping into her destiny. Known for her transparency while speaking, Sheila resonates hearts and souls to let people know that they are not alone in their struggles and trials and never give up because their test will be their testimony. Her favorite saying “They will never know God’s glory unless you tell your story.”
